About Building Connections
Vision Statement
Building Connections Preschool is a nature-oriented family childcare center that utilizes a mixed aged classroom to promote mentorship and socialization among children. We are a child-led center equipped with developmentally appropriate materials and spaces as well as staff who are specifically educated in Early Education. Our focus is on creating a safe space for children to gain knowledge, ask questions freely, and develop independence skills.
Mission Statement
Building Connections Preschool’s mission is to foster independence while instilling a lifelong love of learning into the next generation.
Our Philosophy:
We use a combination of play-based and nature-based learning, along with several Montessori philosophies to educate children in a safe, developmentally appropriate way. We believe in child-led education, meaning that we use the children's interests as a guide in our curriculum. We believe that this is the best way for children to engage in learning and become life-long learners. Small children to teacher ratios help promote one-on-one learning and create deeper social connections throughout the classroom.
Our Values:
Safety - Independence - Connection - Play - Quality Care

A message from Paulina:
Thank you for your interest in Building Connections Preschool!
My main priority as an educator is to provide a safe place for children to grow and learn about the world. I use a combination of play-based learning and Montessori philosophies to teach children to be independent, kind, and responsible as well as to further their developmental learning.
My favorite part of education is the growth and mentorship! There are so many benefits to a multiage classroom, but the mentorship between older and younger students is truly beautiful. I also love seeing the tremendous growth from when a child enters my classroom to when they leave.
If you have any questions or are interested in enrolling, please reach out.
Take care!
